Job description
Infosys is hiring Senior Full Stack Developer. We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Java Lead to design, develop, and lead scalable microservices-based applications using Spring Boot. The role requires strong expertise in backend development, API design, and modern DevOps practices, along with leadership capabilities to guide teams and deliver high-quality enterprise solutions.Required Qualifications:Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga , Canada or be willing to relocate to the area. This position will require travel to Toronto.Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the Canada without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.Required Skills:Lead the design and development of scalable microservices architectureDevelop and maintain robust Java/Spring Boot applicationsDesign and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL servicesEnsure adherence to best practices in coding, performance, and securityCollaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement analysis and solution designMentor junior developers and provide technical guidanceWork closely with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD pipelines and deploymentsConduct code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverablesMonitor application performance and troubleshoot production issuesDrive continuous improvement in development processes and technologies8+ years of relevant experience in Java developmentPrior experience in a technical lead or senior developer role preferredTechnical SkillsBackend & DevelopmentStrong proficiency in Java and Spring BootExperience in building Microservices ArchitectureExpertise in RESTful API development and GraphQLExperience in Web Application developmentHands-on experience with Postman for API testingDevOps & MonitoringVersion control: GitHubCI/CD tools: JenkinsContainer orchestration: KubernetesMessaging systems: KafkaScripting knowledge: Python (preferred)Monitoring & logging tools: Dynatrace, SplunkCachingExperience with in-memory data grid: HazelcastMethodology: Strong experience working in Agile and Scrum environmentsPreferred skills:Strong leadership and mentoring abilitiesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsProblem-solving mindset with attention to detail.Ability to manage stakeholders and drive technical decision.The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
