Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 (flexible) + Benefits
About the Opportunity
Our client, a growing organization within the clinical research industry, is seeking a Clinical Project Manager to join its Clinical Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity for a project management professional who enjoys working in a science-driven environment and collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to support clinical research programs that contribute to advancing healthcare and patient outcomes.
The successful candidate will oversee multiple clinical research projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to established quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
• Lead clinical research projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, challenges, and changes in scope.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain project documentation and study specifications.
Client & Stakeholder Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate communication between clients and internal teams.
• Provide regular project updates and status reports.
• Facilitate issue resolution and escalation when required.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and service excellence.
Quality & Compliance
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs.
• Participate in audits and quality reviews as required.
• Monitor project performance metrics and contribute to quality reporting activities.
Operational Excellence
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and project workflows.
• Support resource planning and workload management.
• Contribute to the development of project management tools, templates, and best practices.
• Assist with risk assessments and mitigation planning.
Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Research, or a related field.
• Advanced degree (MSc, PhD, or equivalent) considered an asset.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications are considered an asset.
Experience
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
• Experience within clinical research, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, healthcare, CROs, or related industries is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

• Strong understanding of project management principles, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Knowledge of the clinical research environment and project lifecycle.
• Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory requirements.
• Experience using project management and reporting tools.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary and international teams.
