Job description
A global leader in transportation and supply chain solutions is expanding its Canadian LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) division. We are seeking a high-energy Account Manager based in Calgary to spearhead growth. This is a full-cycle sales role where you will "hunt" new logos and "farm" an existing book of business valued between $7M–$8M.

Responsibilities
Maintain a high-activity sales cadence (25 customer calls and 25 face-to-face meetings per week).
Strategically manage a multi-million dollar book of business while identifying "plug and play" new business opportunities.
Lead the entire sales cycle (90 days to 1 year) from prospecting to pricing strategy and closing.
Conduct business reviews with major accounts to ensure retention and wallet-share growth.

Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years of B2B sales experience. Background in LTL, Logistics, or Freight Forwarding is required.
Education: University degree is preferred.
Skills: Proven ability to sell to C-Suite stakeholders; strong financial acumen regarding pricing and margins.
Attributes: High "coachability" index, self-motivated, and comfortable in a remote/field-based environment.
Requirement: Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed - $0.73/km).

This is a pivotal role for a sales professional looking to dominate the Calgary market within a specialized LTL network. We are seeking a "Business Owner" mindset to manage a $7M+ portfolio while aggressively pursuing new clients.
