The position is based at our Saint‑Hyacinthe plant.

Your role

As Continuous Improvement Manager, you will lead the continuous improvement roadmap within the plant to optimize operational performance, reduce losses, and support the achievement of safety, quality, service, and cost objectives.

Working closely with the production, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams, you play a key role in building a sustainable continuous improvement culture. You support managers and teams in identifying improvement opportunities, solving problems, and implementing solutions that increase operational efficiency.

What you will accomplish daily:

• Lead, develop, and engage the continuous improvement team
• Act as a change agent with managers and operational teams
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and enhance overall plant performance
• Deploy and promote continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, problem‑solving tools, etc.)
• Lead loss‑reduction initiatives and track results achieved
• Support teams in root‑cause analysis and the implementation of sustainable action plans
• Develop, monitor, and analyze performance indicators related to productivity, losses, and operational efficiency
• Ensure sustainability of improvements through standards, processes, and follow‑up mechanisms
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and events to strengthen continuous improvement capabilities across teams

What you need to join our team

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, food engineering, or a related field
• 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, ideally in the food sector
• Significant experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or transformation project management
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and problem‑solving tools
