Job description
Enhance your career as an Electrical Designer with AVL Manufacturing, responsible for planning, evaluating, and testing electrical systems. Your expertise in CAD and control systems will be essential for successful designs.

In this full-time, permanent role, you will collaborate with the Electrical Design Supervisor, ensuring that designs meet project requirements. You will develop control panels, create detailed specifications, and support compliance with electrical codes. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you assess customer proposals and maintain quality assurance throughout the design cycle.

Key Responsibilities: • Evaluate electrical project requirements and develop designs • Create control panels and conduit/hardware designs • Produce detailed drawing packages and Bills of Materials • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes • Provide technical support during field visits and design reviews

Requirements: • Degree in Electrical Engineering with 3-5 years' experience • Knowledge of PLC design and control engineering • Proficiency in CAD/AutoCAD Electrical • Familiarity with NFPA79, NEC, CEC, CSA, and UL • Strong skills in technical presentation and design
