Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and sourcing expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and results-driven teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in shaping supplier relationships and driving procurement excellence to support Alstom's operations and projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Finance, Legal, Risk Management, and Quality Teams), manage supplier selection processes, negotiate contracts, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:
Setting up full supplier selection processes,
Negotiating financial terms and conditions with current and new suppliers,
Preparing and launching Requests for Quotation with suppliers,
Initiating and managing end-to-end Business Award processes for purchases,
Supporting and deploying commodity strategies, including consolidating needs and inputs,
Participating actively in commodity strategy and panel elaboration,
Ensuring effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem-solving,
Representing commodities towards projects, platforms, and solutions,
Performing and following up on daily Purchase Order (PO) creation, verification, and signature as necessary.

Degree in Engineering or Business (Procurement – desired),
Experience (min. 3 years) in sourcing processes, including contract management, subcontracts, and purchase orders,
Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred),
Familiarity with end-to-end procurement processes, from supplier onboarding through invoice approval,
Strong communication skills,
Ability to work in a matrix environment,
Rigorous and structured approach to tasks,
International mindset and adaptability to diverse environments.
