MAKING AN IMPACT
The Marketing Specialist, Quebec and French Canada helps ensure all French-language marketing is clear, accurate and aligned with our brand. This role reviews and approves a wide range of marketing materials—from emails and digital content to full funnel advertising campaigns—to ensure they resonate with French-speaking audiences and reflect the organization’s voice and visual standards.

You’ll also support the Senior Marketing Manager in the delivery of French-language campaigns and help adapt national initiatives to better connect with audiences in Quebec and across French Canada. This includes coordinating and trafficking of creative assets, managing internal approvals and set ups across campaigns.

Working closely with internal teams, translation partners and external agencies, you’ll help keep projects on track and contribute to improving processes that make French-language marketing more efficient and consistent across the organization.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

French language brand stewardship and marketing review

  • Act as the brand steward for French language marketing across the organization, ensuring all materials align with CCS brand guidelines, tone and positioning
  • Review and approve French marketing materials including but not limited to emails, direct mail, digital content, advertising, collateral, templates etc to ensure clarity and effectiveness in French
  • Serve as subject matter expert on French writing guidelines, brand VIGs and tone of voice
  • Partner with the translation team to resolve any feedback and ensure high quality final output
  • Identify risks, inconsistencies or gaps in messaging and socialize with Senior Marketing Manager
  • Support ongoing optimization of French language review processes and workflows

Support French advertising campaign execution

  • Support the Senior Marketing Manager with the development and execution of integrated French language advertising campaigns across Fundraising, mission and brand priorities
  • Assist with French adaptation of national campaigns to ensure relevance for Quebec and French Canada audiences
  • Support development and delivery of creative assets, including copy review, trafficking coordination and cross functional approvals
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agency partners to ensure timely campaign execution
  • Contribute to campaign QA, ensuring accuracy and alignment across all deliverables
  • Support performance tracking and reporting by coordinating inputs from stakeholders

Cross functional collaboration and project coordination

  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications, Fundraising, Mission and Digital Solutions teams to support French language marketing needs
  • Coordinate with external vendors (Creative and media agencies) to support campaign delivery
  • Lead project management activities including timelines, status and document tracking, budgets and approvals
  • Contribute to process improvements to increase efficiency and consistency across French language workflows
  • Support French Story Centre needs, as required
  • Contribute to our culture of diversity, inclusion, belonging and equity (DIBE) by ensuring that all staff feel represented, valued, and heard across all aspects of their identity, including gender, age, religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, and sexuality.
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate degree, with a preferred focus of Marketing or advertising
  • More than 3 years of working experience in similar field
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is required due to the organization’s nationwide operations and the need for effective communication across various regions, and familiarity with the Quebec culture and market
  • Experience supporting marketing or advertising campaigns across traditional and digital channels
  • Strong experience reviewing, editing and adapting French language marketing content
  • Experience working with cross functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity with creative production and campaign execution workflows
  • Experience working with translation teams is an asset
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Meta etc) is an asset
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality control (both written and visual content)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with a focus on clarity, tone and audience relevance
  • Proactive problem solving and ability to seek alignment across internal and external stakeholders
