Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Parts & Inventory Student to support our Parts & Service team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in product data management, inventory processes, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Product Information Management (PIM) data collection, including:

  Product photographs Dimensions and specifications Instructional documentation Integration with Parts Finder application UPC/EAN code tracking

• Validate and enhance existing PIM data using structured methodologies (e.g., ABC classification)

• Assist with verification of Bills of Material (BOM) for accuracy and completeness

• Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for assembly and instruction sets

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the transition of parts production from the U.S. to Saint John

• Review and recommend improvements to warehouse layout efficiency, including:

  Raw materials storage Finished goods staging and shipping

• Support initiatives to improve inventory management processes, including:

  Cycle counting of finished goods Data accuracy and tracking improvements

Qualifications & Skills

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (business, supply chain, engineering, or related field preferred)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
• Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems is considered an asset
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Mechanical aptitude or interest in technical products is an asset
