Job description
Join Nova Scotia Health as a part-time Network Community Family Practice Lead in West Hants. Lead initiatives that connect family physicians and enhance community care strategies. This leadership role involves collaboration with the Zone Department Head to ensure network activities align with the Department’s strategic direction. You will also oversee physician recruitment and retention and chair essential meetings to strengthen community and healthcare linkages across the Central Zone. Key Responsibilities: • Provide support and insights to the Zone Department Head • Organize the Network Family Practice Council meetings • Promote physician recruitment and retention efforts • Liaise effectively with community and health partners • Troubleshoot and assess complaints within the physician network Requirements: • Experience in healthcare leadership or management • Strong understanding of family practice operations • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Commitment to diversity and equitable healthcare solutions • Ability to engage various healthcare stakeholders Your leadership can significantly shape family practice services, fostering synergy in community health initiatives throughout Nova Scotia. #J-18808-Ljbffr
