Job description
Become a pivotal Mechanical Supervisor at RedChris Mine Site, guiding a skilled team in day-to-day mechanical operations and ensuring high safety standards. This full-time Leadhand role involves hands-on leadership, managing repairs, and training others. You’ll be the go-to mentor for your team, offering guidance on mechanical techniques and best practices. With responsibilities in planning and executing maintenance tasks, you will also ensure compliance with safety policies. Your leadership will help foster growth within the local Tahltan workforce. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and mentor mechanics and apprentices • Assign and oversee task completion for safety and accuracy • Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues effectively • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations • Coordinate maintenance and repair schedules with management Requirements: • Minimum 3-5 years of mechanical experience • Red Seal Technician preferred or equivalent • Strong problem-solving and leadership capabilities • Extensive knowledge of heavy machinery systems • Experience with maintenance documentation and compliance Lead with integrity and expertise as a Mechanical Supervisor at RedChris Mine. #J-18808-Ljbffr
