Job description
Be part of Surespan in Prince George, British Columbia, focusing on accurate project estimates as an Estimator. Work closely with tendering processes and project schedules to ensure successful submissions.

Candidates should possess a minimum of two years' experience in construction with a preference for civil estimating. Experience with projects involving bridges, roads, and infrastructure within the natural resources sector is advantageous. Strong abilities in analysis, communication, and multitasking are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities: • Conduct detailed contract analyses and risk assessments • Complete labor and material quantity take-offs • Develop critical path schedules for project timelines • Obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors • Liaise with clients to prepare tender documents

Requirements: • Minimum two years of estimating experience • Relevant background in civil construction • Familiarity with AutoCAD and estimating software • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Must hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
