He is a sweet, gentle, energetic, and engaging little boy who loves spending time outdoors, listening to music, reading books, and being physically active. He is bright, curious, and a natural problem-solver who enjoys learning new skills and exploring how things work. About Us We are first-time parents who are thoroughly enjoying this stage of life with Patrick. He is a wonderful little boy, and we love watching him learn new things, tackle new challenges, and discover more about the world every day. We are looking for a caring, engaged nanny who will become an important part of Patrick’s life and build a warm, trusting relationship with him while bringing energy, curiosity, and fun to his days. Mom works remotely from home full-time, and Dad works remotely part-time. Responsibilities * Provide attentive, nurturing care throughout the day * Plan and implement a weekly schedule of age-appropriate activities, outings, and learning opportunities * Plan a balance of outdoor play, community outings, social experiences, and learning opportunities * Take Patrick on local, budget friendly outings using the family’s vehicle, including EarlyON programs, library story times, parks, the farmers’ market, and other age-appropriate activities in the Burlington community * Review weekly activity plans with parents * Prepare healthy meals and snacks for Patrick * Maintain nap and daily routines * Light housekeeping related to childcare, including tidying play areas, meal cleanup, and children’s laundry Qualifications * Experience caring for young children * Valid driver’s license and clean driving record * Comfortable and confident driver * Comfortable transporting a toddler to local activities and programs using the family’s vehicle * CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) * Strong references * Non-smoker preferred Spanish or French language skills would be a welcome bonus, but are not required. If this sounds like a good fit, we would love to hear from you. Please send us a brief introduction, details about your childcare experience, availability, and references.
