Job description
Provide essential counseling services as a Counselor for the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) at Homewood Health™ in Baie-Comeau, Quebec. Philanthropy and efficacy define your role in this bilingual position. Homewood Health™ aims to recruit dedicated mental health professionals for occasional contracts assisting clients with various concerns. This role involves engaging with adults, families, and children, focusing on solution-oriented therapy for issues like stress and addiction. Compliance with professional practices and participation in clinical consultations is expected. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver short-term, solution-focused therapy tailored to clients' needs • Address workplace challenges and interpersonal skills issues • Collaborate with clinical management for optimal outcomes • Consult with team on best practices and standards • Provide services in a professional and ethical manner Requirements: • Master’s Degree or relevant Bachelor’s degree mandatory • Current registration with a professional regulatory body • At least 3 years in counseling or social services fields • Bilingual fluency in English and French necessary • Professional liability insurance minimum of $2,000,000 required Utilize your expertise to empower individuals and families at Homewood Health™. #J-18808-Ljbffr
