Job description:Located on the brink of one of the worlds greatest natural wonders the Marriott on the Falls is a 404 guestroom full service hotel minutes away from area attractions world-class wineries golf and casinos. The Marriott on the Falls also offers sumptuous dining options at its on-site Milestones Fallsview Restaurant along with 23 private function rooms and boardrooms totaling over 40000 square feet of meeting space including our 8400 sq. ft. Oakes Grand Ballroom with an additional 2700 sq. ft. foyer. Reporting to the Front Office Manager this position is responsible for performing a variety of activities to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office. Responsibilities include but not limited to:Greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival by consistently offering professional friendly and engaging - in and checking-out guests according to Marriott reservation address and credit card be knowledgeable about guest rooms locations amenities room rates room packages discounts and payment for all guests accounts both at the time of registration and at to guest inquires in a timely and accurate to achieving the loyalty of our guests by exceeding their expectations and providing warm professional guest complaints and comments in a professional manner and providing -arrival duties including blocking rooms with respect to special requests loyalty member guests and large room and concise pass-on communication with all associates coming on to the next to all health and safety regulations and standards and ensure a clean and safe working in daily standup appropriate Marriott service other duties as were looking for:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with guests both internally and professional telephone organizational and time management skills and the ability to work under to work independently with minimal supervision as well as cooperatively within a team be able to stand and exert well-paced provide a high standard of customer to Front Desk experience an asset Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional.
