Job description

Tasks

  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the branch
  • Prepare and complete quotes for customers
  • Provide high-quality customer service, both at the counter and over the phone
  • Ensure proper and organized receipt of merchandise
  • Supervise order preparation
  • Plan delivery routes efficiently
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid stock shortages
  • Perform inventory checks and follow up on discrepancies
  • Ensure that equipment, tools, and work materials are functional and safe
  • Maintain a positive work environment and strong team dynamics
  • Support employees in their daily tasks and ensure compliance with internal procedures
  • Ensure overall operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Perform deliveries as needed
  • Open and close the branch
  • Handle deposits
  • Perform any other related tasks

Job requirements

  • Relevant experience in branch or operations management (inventory, logistics, coordination)
  • Strong customer service skills (counter and phone) with a professional approach
  • Experience in inventory management, receiving, and shipping
  • Hands-on leadership with the ability to guide, motivate, and support a team
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Versatility and operational involvement (floor support, deliveries, administrative tasks)
  • Knowledge of distribution operations or warehouse environments (a major asset)
  • Ability to ensure quality control and compliance with workplace safety standards
