As Head of Global HR Development, you will be responsible for developing and driving our overall HR development efforts across Royal Greenland’s locations in Greenland, Europe, and North America.
You will be part of the HR leadership team and report directly to the EVP HR & Communication. At the same time, you will have leadership responsibility for a team of 5 employees with different specialist areas within HR development.
The position is based at Royal Greenland’s headquarters in Nuuk—at the heart of a company where Greenlandic culture and values meet international perspectives.
Your responsibilities
You will get overall responsibility for:
- Leadership development programs across the entire group
- Talent development and succession planning
- Learning & development initiatives
- Employee well-being surveys and follow-up on engagement
- Performance and development processes
- The company’s educational initiatives
- Occupational health and safety
- Development of HR programs and tools across the group
- Supporting the company’s strategic development through HR initiatives
You will work closely with both HR Operations and HR Business Partnering to ensure that our HR initiatives create real value across the organization.
Who are you?
We imagine that you:
- Have solid experience in HR development, organisational development, or people & culture
- Have experience driving HR development initiatives in large and complex organisations
- Are strong both strategically and operationally
- Have experience leading specialists and/or HR teams
- Can navigate confidently in culturally complex environments
- Are structured, collaborative, and able to drive progress in tasks and projects
- Are used to working with senior leaders and creating engagement
- Have a relevant educational background within HR, communication, organisational development, or similar
At Royal Greenland, Greenlandic, Danish, English and several other languages are used. Strong language skills are an advantage.
