Requirements:
The Faculty of Law, Civil Law Section, seeks to recruit part time professors distinguished by their expertise and who play a leading role in the legal profession. To teach this course, candidates must:
• Hold an LL.L. or an LL.B. (or equivalent);
• Be a member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec, the bar of another province, or the Chambre des notaires du Québec;
• Have significant and relevant professional experience in the field covered by the course and/or hold a graduate degree in that field and/or have contributed to research through academic publications demonstrating recognized expertise in that field;
• University level teaching experience in a faculty of law is considered an asset.
At its discretion, the Faculty reserves its right to select an applicant who does not fully meet the posted criteria if doing so would serve the interests of the program, the course, or the students, or for another related justification.
