Field Operator for a
3-month summer relief position supporting the Alberta Gathering System. This role is ideal for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in pipeline operations, oil & gas field operations, and midstream facilities, while building leadership potential.

- Pay Rate: T4: $37.17/hour | IC: $ 42.68/hour
- Location: Cold Lake, AB
- Shift: 8 Days On / 6 Days Off | 10-Hour Shifts

Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor pipeline systems, terminals, booster stations, and LACT units
- Perform daily inspections, operational rounds, and compliance checks
- Troubleshoot production, mechanical, and technical issues
- Work closely with midstream teams, vendors, and community stakeholders
- Support maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution
- Assist with incident investigations and hazard identification programs
- Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture (HRO model)
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies, COIMS, and regulatory standards
- Identify and report improvement opportunities through the MOC process
Qualifications and Skills: - Experience in oil & gas operations, pipeline systems, or midstream facilities (asset)
- Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Solid understanding of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Ability to work in fast-paced, physically demanding field environments
- Career interest in leadership or supervisory roles
- Must pass drug and alcohol testing (safety-sensitive position)
- Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
