Job description
Tasks
- Respond accurately to parts inquiries from customers and technicians.
- Provide high-quality customer service and advice to properly identify needs and recommend appropriate parts.
- Prepare quotations and invoices and ensure thorough follow-up with customers and suppliers.
- Maintain proactive communication to ensure deadlines are met.
- Place parts orders with suppliers according to operational requirements.
- Receive, inspect, and organize merchandise efficiently to ensure effective warehouse management.
- Maintain accurate inventory control by verifying stock levels and inventory records.
- Make the necessary adjustments to keep inventory records up to date.
- Use computer systems and internal software to track parts, orders, and transactions.
- Perform any other related duties as required.

Job requirements
- Experience in parts management, inventory control, or counter service.
- Knowledge of the mechanical, industrial, or equipment industry is considered a significant asset.
- Proficiency with computer systems, particularly inventory management systems or ERP software.
- Strong bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written, to communicate frequently with the head office (approximately 40% of the time).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing, inventory management, and invoicing.
