Job description
Explore an impactful leadership role in government relations for EV automotive manufacturing located in North York, ON. This position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $225,000 and requires extensive experience in public policy. In the role of Director of Government Relations, you will spearhead public policy initiatives that support electric vehicle manufacturing and related investments. Collaborating closely with executive teams, your strategic insights will influence policies and funding opportunities to ensure compliance and promote sustainable practices throughout the industry. Key Responsibilities: • Execute government relations strategies aligned with corporate objectives • Build relationships with federal and provincial officials • Represent the organization in policy discussions • Lead advocacy efforts on battery production and infrastructure • Prepare executive reports and funding applications Requirements: • Bachelor's in Public Policy, Business, or related area • 10+ years of relevant governmental experience • Knowledge of clean technology regulations • Proven track record in policy influence • Strong communication and negotiation skills Lead the charge in advocating for EV manufacturing and sustainability initiatives in Canada. #J-18808-Ljbffr
