At PCL Constructors Inc., part of the PCL Family of Companies (PCL), we don't just build projects -- we build opportunities, careers and communities. We are 100% employee-owned, every employee has a stake in our success, and that shared commitment drives how we work, grow and lead in the construction industry.

We're a team of builders who care deeply about what we create and who we build with. That includes you. We are not only shaping the future of construction, we are also committed to shaping the future of your career.

As a BIM/VDC Specialist within PCL’s Integrated Construction Technology (ICT) team, you will play a meaningful role in shaping how digital construction is delivered across the organization.

This is a corporate-level position, where you will work alongside a team of highly experienced VDC leaders across North America, supporting operations and influencing how BIM/VDC is applied at scale. You will collaborate directly with project teams, helping them adopt and evolve model-based workflows that improve coordination, efficiency, and overall project outcomes.

In this role, you are more than a technical contributor, you are a BIM/VDC “influencer” (BIMflunacer) within the organization. You will help guide how tools, standards, and processes are applied in real-world project environments, with the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing evolution of PCL’s digital construction strategy.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Supporting operations VDC teams to deliver high-quality, model-based project outcomes
  • Engaging directly with project teams to develop, test, and refine new workflows
  • Contributing to R&D initiatives and proof-of-concept (POC) efforts that evaluate and advance emerging technologies
  • Participating in a culture of continuous learning, where curiosity and innovation are expected and supported

This role is ideal for someone who is motivated by impact, someone who wants to continuously learn, challenge existing approaches, and help drive meaningful change in how construction is delivered.

Why Choose PCL?

  • Employee ownership opportunities that build long-term value
  • Annual discretionary performance bonuses
  • RRSP, TFSA, Pension Contribution Options
  • Flexible medical, dental and vision benefits
  • Prescription drug coverage and virtual care services
  • Life, AD&D and disability insurance
  • Paid parental leave and family care support
  • Health and lifestyle spending account options
  • Mental health and wellness support, including Employee Assistance Programs
  • Career growth pathways, leadership development and mentorship programs
  • Access to world-class training through PCL's College of Construction and professional development courses
