Responsibilities

As a Lifemark Clinic Director, you’ll be a vital member of a multidisciplinary team, empowering individuals to overcome challenges, improve their mobility, and achieve their health goals.

• Develop personalized, evidence‑informed care plans to support individual rehabilitation and wellness goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient‑centric care and achieve optimal outcomes.
• Build the next generation through mentorship and leadership.
• Stay current with best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
• Responsible for financial and clinical performance metrics of the clinic.
• Communicate effectively to both internal and external stakeholders to achieve service excellence.
• Coordinate operational activities with the team and demonstrate a strong presence in the clinic.
• Engage in continuous learning, mentorship and skills development.
• Manage and resolve scheduling issues or changes that arise in the clinic.
• Play an influential role in nurturing a sense of ownership across the workforce, so that employees feel empowered to use their judgment and experience to make sound decisions.
• Assist in recruitment and hiring of staff.

Qualifications

• Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Kinesiologist, Psychologist, or related healthcare professional designation.
• Current registration and good standing with the appropriate regulatory body in Newfoundland.
• 3–5+ years of clinical and administrative leadership experience in a rehabilitation clinic.

Preferred Additional Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading healthcare providers and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Experience managing and overseeing rehabilitation treatment programs.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Wellness services.
• Experience in quality assurance and clinical compliance.
• Experience in business development and account management within a healthcare setting.
