Job description

Job Description:

DXC Technology is a leading enterprise technology and innovation partner delivering software, services, and solutions to global enterprises and public sector organizations — helping them harness AI to drive outcomes at a time of exponential change with speed. With deep expertise in Managed Infrastructure Services, Application Modernization, and Industry-Specific Software Solutions, DXC modernizes, secures, and operates some of the world's most complex technology estates.

DXC's Insurance Software and BPS (ISB) helps insurers around the world modernize and run their core operations at scale by combining deep industry expertise, proven software platforms, and innovative AI-driven solutions. A global market leader in core insurance platforms, ISB delivers solutions across policy administration, claims, billing, analytics, and digital engagement supporting Life & Annuity, Property & Casualty, and Specialty insurance markets. You’ll directly shape how the world's leading insurers operate by helping to transform the policy, underwriting, and claims systems that millions of people rely on every day.

In this role, you'll partner closely with People & Culture leaders, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to design, administer, and continuously improve compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent. You'll combine deep compensation expertise with strong analytical skills to influence decisions, solve complex challenges, and drive meaningful business outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced compensation professional who enjoys balancing strategy and execution, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about creating equitable, competitive, and scalable compensation programs.

What You'll Do

Strategic Compensation Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to People & Culture partners and business leaders on compensation-related matters, including hiring, promotions, internal mobility, and pay decisions.
  • Provide expert guidance on compensation strategy, market competitiveness, and alignment with DXC's compensation philosophy.
  • Support and influence compensation discussions that drive talent attraction, retention, and performance.

Compensation Programs & Administration

  • Lead and support annual compensation planning activities, including merit increases, incentive programs, stock awards, and equity grants.
  • Ensure effective administration of compensation programs through system testing, audits, and process governance.
  • Partner with stakeholders to continuously improve compensation processes and employee experience.

Analytics & Market Intelligence

  • Conduct sophisticated compensation analyses, data modeling, benchmarking, and reporting to support business decisions.
  • Evaluate salary adjustment requests, market movements, and internal equity considerations.
  • Research compensation trends, salary surveys, and labor market data to develop actionable recommendations.
  • Leverage AI-driven analytics and technology tools to model compensation scenarios, identify emerging trends, and enhance decision-making.

Program Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Help evolve DXC's compensation infrastructure through the implementation of new tools, workflows, reporting capabilities, and scalable processes.
  • Document and optimize compensation procedures, identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive compensation projects from concept through implementation while ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Compliance & Governance

  • Support compensation audits, compliance initiatives, and regulatory reporting activities.
  • Maintain data integrity across HR systems and compensation-related processes.
  • Stay informed on compensation legislation, market practices, and emerging trends across the U.S. and Canada.

Collaboration & Enablement

  • Partner closely with People Operations, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and other stakeholders on compensation initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver compensation training, communications, and educational resources for HR and business leaders.
  • Participate in compensation surveys, job evaluations, market benchmarking, and job matching activities as needed.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive compensation experience, including at least 3 years in a dedicated compensation-focused role.
  • Demonstrated experience administering compensation and total rewards programs within a complex organization.
  • Strong expertise in market pricing, salary structure management, compensation benchmarking, and pay analysis.
  • Experience with job evaluation, job leveling, survey matching, and internal equity assessments.
  • Knowledge of Canadian compensation practices is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and compensation-related data analysis.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and drive results.
  • Passion for continuous learning, innovation, and leveraging emerging technologies.

Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of U.S. FLSA exemption regulations and Canadian overtime exemption standards.
  • Experience supporting compensation programs across both the United States and Canada.
  • Familiarity with compensation technology platforms, HRIS systems, and advanced analytics tools.

Why Join DXC?

You'll have the opportunity to shape compensation programs that directly impact employee experience and business success while working alongside talented colleagues in a collaborative, global environment.
