Job Summary:
Reporting to the Program Manager of the Central Referral Office and under the general supervision of the Central Referral Team Coordinator the Referral Clerk is responsible for the processing of referrals received at CancerCare Manitoba.
The Referral Clerk compiles demographic and medical information necessary for electronic chart creation and referral triage assigning and appointment scheduling for patients requiring outpatient consultation at CancerCare Manitoba and/or inpatient carrying out their duties the Referral Clerk will communicate and collaboratewith the Navigation Services team Referral Office team multidisciplinary care team referring community and patients.
