Job description
PCL is seeking an Events Student for a dynamic four-month internship in Ottawa, from September to December 2026. Dive into the world of event planning at our Canadian Buildings Division.

You will assist with organizing corporate and social events, handling everything from venue selection to marketing material creation. This internship is a fantastic opportunity for students pursuing careers in events, marketing, or business administration, providing practical experience and valuable skills in event execution.

Key Responsibilities: • Support the organization of events for 10–500 guests • Research and propose venues and vendors • Help prepare budgets and control costs • Facilitate event logistics including guest management • Assist in developing brand-consistent marketing materials

Requirements: • Actively pursuing a degree in events or marketing • Competent with Microsoft Office Suite • Photography skills beneficial for event documentation • Graphic design experience is a plus • Excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach
