They are actively seeking Electrical Test Technologist to join their growing team!
Main responsibilities:
· Strong ability to test low and medium voltage products including Switchgears, Switchboards, Panelboards, Breaker’s and MCC’s.
· Ability to work closely with Engineering and identify issues with electrical drawings.
· Ability to follow ITP’s and perform FAT’s.
· Maintain Repair/Calibration database.
· Job entries & maintenance of records on database including associated paperwork and time tracking.
· Prepare detailed service and failure records.
· Ability to meet project deadlines and strong focus on customers.
Qualifications & Skills required:
· Technical college education or equivalent formal training in Electrical Engineering Technologies,
· Experience with low and medium voltage equipment
· Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in testing, troubleshooting & failure analysis of electrical equipment.
· Sound theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience on electrical testing including ability to use High Pot test Set, Current Injector, Megger insulation resistance meter, Multi Meter, Relay Test Set, Corona test Set.
· Validating/correcting existing technical documents including test procedures
· Capable of managing technical tasks with minimal supervision, technical information, and documentation.
· Possess strong analytical skills and ability to interpret schematics.
· Computer proficient
· Possess strong interpersonal skills, and communication skills (written and oral) to convey technical findings/issues/topics to corresponding parties.
