Advantages
Job Title: Technical Coordinator
Location: Montreal, QC (100% on-site with some field visits)
Schedule: Full-time, daytime
Salary: $70,000 to $75,000 per year
Industry: Commercial and Industrial Real Estate
Benefits and conditions offered:
You will benefit from highly competitive compensation, motivating daily challenges, a prime downtown location, and the incredible chance to manage large-scale standardization projects.

Responsibilities
— You will improve the regulatory compliance (notably RBQ and fire protection) of all our buildings in order to reduce the risks of service interruptions.
— You will actively participate in the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of consolidated calls for tenders for our various maintenance contracts.
— You will accurately inventory equipment to optimize and update the maintenance module of our CMMS (Angus) management system.
— You will implement a five-year asset management plan and efficiently schedule capital projects (CAPEX).
— You will provide advanced technical expertise to standardize our documentation processes and support the property management team on a daily basis.
— You will conduct approximately 5 hours of field visits per week in Montreal to audit the quality of work and absolute adherence to contracts.

Qualifications
Experience and skills required:
— You have relevant work experience in building systems/mechanics, estimation, or technical coordination in the real estate sector.
— You demonstrate exceptional rigor in research, data analysis, and the presentation of well-structured technical documents.
— You hold a valid driver's license, an essential element for your weekly travel to our various sites.
— You are recognized for your ability to analyze costs, read complex blueprints, and negotiate strategically with suppliers.
— You master current technological tools and have strong learning potential to navigate management systems (CMMS).
— You have an excellent analytical mind and natural leadership allowing you to easily collaborate with multiple technical teams.
- Our client operates in Canada and globally/internationally, in the United States and other countries. The company takes all reasonable measures to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and when its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties.
Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in spoken and written English. In particular, this position will require the employee to collaborate with other colleagues and business functions located outside Quebec who do not speak French and provide them with the necessary support.

Summary
The technical coordinator is the central pillar ensuring the sustainability, security, and compliance of our vast real estate portfolio. Working from our modern Montreal offices, the technical coordinator strategically ensures that each asset meets the highest industry standards, while promoting innovation and operational excellence.
