Job description
Become a Parent Education and Support Worker at Macaulay Centres for Children in Toronto. This permanent role fosters effective parenting through evidence-based techniques in a supportive environment.

In this full-time position, you will engage with parents of young children to deliver educational support and community resource access. Conduct vital outreach and home visits to promote optimal child development and assist families facing challenges. Your contributions will strengthen relationships and empower parents through education.

Key Responsibilities: • Liaise with agencies for family outreach • Conduct educational home visits • Collaborate with health services for child referrals • Promote social support networks among parents • Keep updated on community resources available

Requirements: • Extensive knowledge of child development and parenting • Experience designing workshops for adults • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish • Ability to build effective partnerships with diverse families • Current certification in First Aid and background check
