What we’re looking for The Manager, Video Content Creator–Origins–Global will be the video creative lead on Origins global Social Media team. This role is responsible for owning the conceptualization, shooting, and editing of elevated video content across all social channels, including Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. You will be a key player on this team, overseeing all video concept that appears on Origins’ social channels.
We are seeking a highly creative and entrepreneurial video creative who will be excited at the opportunity of taking a leadership role for video content for an iconic global beauty brand. The ideal candidate will thrive at the responsibility of constantly shooting content. You will work in lo‑fi and high production manners. You will work seamlessly with the social media team to create video content that is beautiful, engaging, educational and establishes the Origins’ brand identity. This is a key role in bringing the Origins brand to life on social media.

This is a hybrid role, based 3 days out of our Liberty Village, Toronto office.
Pay range The anticipated base salary for this position is $90,000 to $100,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
What you’d be doing in this role
In partnership with the Social Media team and Design team, establish a video content strategy for Origins that allows the key pillars of the brand to be expressed constantly on social media
Establish a unique and channel‑right approach for Instagram, TikTok, and other social media channels as needed
Responsible for owning the conceptualizing, shooting, and editing of video content for social media across all channels. Be able to do this for both long‑form and short‑form content depending on what’s needed
Establish a unique way to show Origins’ product storytelling and scientific innovation on video that’s right for social
Edit captured video to tell concise, visually pleasing stories
Input music, dialogues, graphics, effects, inserting closed captioning, graphics, or other on‑screen text into a video, as needed
Stay up to date with Origins’ product knowledge, brand strategy, key launches and campaigns
Manage ongoing alignment with other departments (Social Media team, Brand team, and others) on project objectives and requirement
Drive the end‑to‑end production process from reviewing shooting scripts and raw material to final high‑standard execution ensuring all work reflects DECIEM’s brand standards
Help develop and maintain the social media content calendar in alignment with global roadmaps
Serve as a global point of contact for social video requests and insights
Skills and qualifications needed to get the job done
5 years+ of experience in CRM, Online Marketing and/or DTC
Proven experience with enterprise CRM platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Data Cloud, or similar technologies like Responsys and Klaviyo working experience with popular analytics platforms and reporting tools including Google Analytics (360 or GA4, GA 4 preferred), Looker, Microsoft BI, and others.
HTML, CSS, and basic SQL skills are a must
Understanding of international data compliance laws (CASL, GDPR, etc.)
Operational understanding of data, data modelling and how to use data coming from various sources in marketing communications
