Job description
AAA Canada is looking for a skilled Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair railway equipment. Ensure trains operate safely and efficiently with hands-on maintenance and inspections.

In this permanent role, you will conduct preventive maintenance, document repairs, and assist in commissioning trains. Your expertise will directly impact the safety and functionality of rolling stock, emphasizing the need for inspections and thorough record-keeping. Flexibility for various shifts, along with a vocational diploma in electromechanics, is required.

Key Responsibilities: • Execute preventive maintenance on railway systems • Document and carry out routine maintenance repairs • Install and repair train components as needed • Prepare and review defect lists with supervisor approval • Conduct tests for commissioning trains and during quarterly reviews

Requirements: • Vocational diploma in electromechanics • Experience in heavy machinery maintenance preferred • Availability for all shifts required • Class 5 driver's license an asset • Bilingual in French and English strongly preferred
