Job description
Join AbleLiving Services as a Full-Time Social Service Worker in Burlington. Lead client counseling and care plan development to enhance quality of life for adults with disabilities.

This role underpins social work services across Thrive Group Community Services, focusing on advocacy and support for diverse populations. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s in Social Work and 2-3 years of practical experience along with current OCSWSSW registration. Responsibilities encompass direct client counseling, assessments, and education initiatives that adapt to various physical and psycho-social conditions.

Key Responsibilities: • Design and deliver comprehensive social work services • Provide advocacy and counseling for diverse client needs • Develop and monitor individualized care plans • Educate clients, caregivers, and employees about services • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective care

Requirements: • Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant practice • Registration in good standing with OCSWSSW • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Driver’s license and vulnerable sector police check required
