Job description

Kelly Services is currently hiring a Document Control Associate for a temporary 9-month assignment with a pharmaceutical manufacturing client in Windsor, Ontario.

This role supports key compliance and document control activities within a regulated GMP environment, with a strong focus on accuracy, organization, and electronic document management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the migration of controlled documents into the EDMS system
  • Assist with document control activities including routing, tracking, and maintaining logs
  • Create and update document templates and internal procedures
  • Process change requests and update document metadata within EDMS
  • Support document retirement, consolidation, and minor SOP/form updates
  • Monitor project timelines, progress, and deliverables
  • Ensure all documentation activities are completed in accordance with SOPs and GMP requirements
  • Maintain accuracy and compliance in all documentation handling
  • Support additional administrative and compliance tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Previous administrative or project coordination experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environment
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High attention to detail and strong accuracy in documentation work
  • Ability to work independently and manage routine tasks effectively
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal in English)
  • Ability to occasionally work extended hours to meet deadlines if required

Additional Information:

  • Background check required
  • Monday to Friday schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch break)
