Job description
Elevate mental health care as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at McMaster Children’s Hospital. This full-time position allows you to engage in teaching while providing high-quality inpatient care. Located within the esteemed Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences, this role spans 36.5 months and emphasizes collaboration with a specialized team of healthcare professionals. Your clinical experience will play a crucial role in treating complex cases while also shaping future psychiatrists through education and supervision. Key Responsibilities: • Provide specialized inpatient mental health care • Mentor and supervise psychiatry trainees and students • Collaborate on multidisciplinary assessments and treatments • Participate in departmental research initiatives • Engage in administrative and educational responsibilities Requirements: • Obtain licensure in the Province of Ontario • Hold specialty certification in psychiatry • Demonstrate commitment to clinical education • Have experience in mental health emergency settings • Documented history of research in child psychiatry Bring your passion for child psychiatry and commitment to educational excellence to McMaster's vibrant mental health community. #J-18808-Ljbffr
