Job description
Our client, a transportation company located in St. Thomas is looking for a Parts and Service Supervisor who wants to grow with the company. What we offer:
  • $70,000-$80,000 annual Salary
  • Company Benefits
  • Straight days 8:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday
  • 3 weeks’ vacation to start

What you’ll be doing:
  • Supervise operations of the parts department.
  • Maintain Preventive Maintenance schedule for fleet.
  • Monitor fleet availability and prioritize repairs to maximize efficiency.
  • Manage inventory of parts, tires, fluids, and shop supplies
  • Ordering and negotiating with suppliers and vendors
  • Support technicians with parts availability and repair coordination
  • Maintain work orders, service records, warranty claims, and maintenance documentation
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and workplace policies
  • Assist with budgeting, purchasing, and maintenance cost control
  • Supervise, train, and support maintenance and parts staff
  • Collaborate with operations and dispatch teams to maintain fleet readiness
  • Promote a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
Who you are:
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fleet maintenance, coach bus, trucking, or heavy-duty vehicle operations
  • Experience in public transit or passenger transportation operations
  • Journeyperson technician certification or related technical training would be an asset.
  • Experience with inventory management and fleet maintenance software would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of commercial transportation safety and compliance regulations
