Job description
Lead data solutions as part of RBC’s Capital Markets team in Toronto, Canada. This role requires expertise in data development, SQL optimization, and collaboration within a dynamic environment.

As a Data Development Lead at RBC, you will manage a team through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Your responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, designing data solutions, and mentoring developers. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, you will help modernize processes within Corporate Banking and Wealth Management.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead data solutions that align with strategic goals • Analyze and translate business requirements into technical specs • Collaborate with Data Architect for robust data models • Mentor the team of data developers and analysts • Troubleshoot incidents in production environments

Requirements: • Experience with RDBMS (Sybase, MS SQL, Oracle) • Strong programming skills in SQL and performance tuning • Background in ETL processes using IBM InfoSphere • Understanding of shell scripting and devops • Excellent communication and presentation skills
