Job description
Step into a Senior Procurement Specialist position to support a significant hydroelectric initiative in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. Focus on pre-award activities, competitive tenders, and collaboration with key stakeholders.

In this role, you will report to the Project Procurement Manager and actively engage with the AtkinsRéalis project team and clients. Your expertise will guide sourcing strategies and ensure compliance with procurement legislation before shifting to post-award contract administration as the project matures.

Key Responsibilities: • Ensure compliance with provincial procurement regulations • Manage RFP creation and vendor evaluations • Facilitate communication to support procurement processes • Conduct market soundings and supplier evaluations • Oversee change management and coordinate payments

Requirements: • 10+ years in large project procurement or commercial roles • In-depth experience in RFP management and negotiations • Understanding of contract formation and sourcing strategies • Capability to juggle multiple procurement packages • Interest in moving into contract management roles
