Job description
Join Métis Nation British Columbia as a Board Secretariat Coordinator in a hybrid role, providing vital administrative support to Board Members and enhancing meeting efficiencies. This full-time position is ideal for organized professionals with strong administrative skills.

In this key role, you will support seven MNBC Board Members by managing correspondence and organizing meetings. Your responsibilities include preparing meeting agendas, maintaining corporate records, and drafting minutes. A proactive approach is essential, along with the ability to research past board decisions and assist with travel arrangements.

Key Responsibilities: • Provide administrative support to Board Members • Schedule meetings and prepare agendas • Draft and distribute meeting minutes promptly • Maintain accurate corporate records and documents • Support travel arrangements and expense claims

Requirements: • Diploma in office administration or related field • Minimum five years in a senior administrative role • Proficient in MS Office 365 and virtual meeting tools • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
