Front End Operator – Manufacturing Facility, Foothills Industrial Park, South East Calgary, Alberta. Responsibilities
Operate automated machines or equipment for the production of aluminum cans. Perform mechanical adjustments, maintenance, repairs, installation, and modification of manufacturing equipment. Keep lines flowing and conduct continuous quality checks, including minor adjustments to conveyor belts and factory equipment. Maintain accurate and continuous quality records. Follow verbal instructions for task completion. Communicate operational status and production issues to Production Supervisors/Managers. Adhere to standard operating procedures. Work effectively in a team environment. Keep work area safe, clean, and organized. Job Requirements
3+ years of production experience with knowledge of production equipment and mechanical operations in a manufacturing environment. Formal education/training or on‑the‑job training in mechanical components such as pumps, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, belts, and pulleys. Valid forklift license. Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Focus on quality and safety in all aspects of the job. Mechanically inclined with understanding of line continuity. Availability to work twelve‑hour shifts on a 4‑on/4‑off rotating day/night schedule. Impeccable time and attendance record. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and to stand, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl regularly. Strong attention to detail. Benefits
