Welder/Fabricator (Lunenburg)

We are seeking a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join our growing team. This role involves a mix of structural steel fabrication, aluminum and stainless work, and ship repair, both in-shop and on site. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a marine or industrial environment. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and does not want to work on the same thing every day. Key Responsibilities

Fabricate and weld structural steel components in accordance with drawings and specifications Perform welding and fabrication on steel, with aluminum and stainless steel experience considered a solid asset Carry out ship repair and marine fabrication work, including modifications and repairs on vessels Use welding processes such as SMAW (stick), GMAW (MIG), and GTAW (TIG) as required Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and work orders Cut, fit, tack, and weld materials accurately and efficiently Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, saws, drills, and other shop tools Work safely in confined spaces and around heavy equipment when required Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all company safety policies and applicable regulations Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 3 years as a welder/fabricator in an industrial or marine environment Strong experience welding structural steel Aluminum and stainless steel welding experience is an asset Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with ship repair, marine fabrication, or work aboard vessels is an asset Welding tickets/certifications are an asset or willingness to obtain Physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in varied environments Valid driver’s license Legally eligible to work in Canada What We Offer
