Position Title: Employment Initiatives Coordinator Job Type: Full Time, Temporary – 35 hours per week (8 weeks) Work Location: Onsite Reports to: Manager, Employment & Career Development Summary: The Employment Initiatives Coordinator supports employment programs through client intake, data management, outreach, and coordination of activities to enhance employment readiness. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Support client intake processes, including collecting documentation, completing forms, and entering data into program databases Maintain and update client records, waitlists, and tracking systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality Assist with planning and delivering employment workshops, including preparing materials and supporting facilitation Support recruitment efforts by contacting potential participants and assisting with eligibility screening Assist in coordinating job placements by liaising with employers and supporting communication between clients and employers Provide administrative support to the employment team, including scheduling, reporting, and documentation Support outreach activities, including community engagement and promotional efforts Assist with managing electronic and physical inventory related to program delivery Core Competencies

High School Diploma or currently enrolled in college or university Experience working with non-profit organizations is an asset Comfortable with using technology (e.g., MS Office, Internet, Skype, websites) Between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of employment Valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation International students are not eligible. Recent immigrants are eligible if they are Canadian citizens or permanent residents Successful candidate must complete a Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and a Child Intervention Record Check Equal Opportunity Statement
