Job description
Become a vital link between job seekers and employers in Midland, Ontario, as the Employer Relations Coach with the YMCA. This role involves direct engagement with community partners and clients.

In this position, you will coach and support clients in their job search efforts, while actively maintaining relationships with local businesses. Your focus will be on delivering workshops, providing labor market insights, and organizing events that connect job seekers with employment opportunities. Your independence in decision-making will enhance program delivery aligned with employer needs.

Key Responsibilities: • Assess and coach clients for job market readiness • Maintain comprehensive employer connections • Deliver impactful workshops and training programs • Monitor and support client job placement success • Navigate community events to promote YMCA services

Requirements: • Minimum 5 years in coaching or employment services • Proven ability in relationship building • Strong organizational and negotiation skills • Familiarity with job development practices • Education in coaching or related fields
