Job description
Join LOFT Community Services as a Seasonal Cook in Bradford, ON, where you'll prepare and serve meals for assisted living residents. Your culinary skills will help ensure every meal meets dietary standards and quality.

This role requires multiple years of cooking experience and a valid Food Handler's Certificate. You'll be responsible for cooking scheduled meals, as well as maintaining kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards. Serving meals on time and monitoring inventory are key tasks to support our residents’ needs.

Key Responsibilities: • Prepare meals for scheduled and special occasions • Maintain high-quality food service standards • Ensure all utensils and equipment are ready • Serve meals to residents at specified times • Clean kitchen and dining areas after service

Requirements: • Several years of kitchen/cooking experience • Knowledge of health and safety standards • Valid Food Handler's Certificate • Ability to communicate in English, oral and written • Physical ability to lift and perform kitchen duties
