We are Florists Choice, a specialized floral business management and AI-powered SaaS platform built from years of real-world florist operations. Our software was originally developed and tested inside Flower Chix, a Calgary-based florist that grew from a small acquisition into a business generating over $2 million in annual revenue. We are now rebuilding and commercializing the platform for florists across Canada and the United States, with the goal of becoming the leading operating system for independent florists. Our current stack includes Laravel 12, a RESTful API architecture, React and Next.js, cloud infrastructure, Stripe billing, AI integrations, mobile-responsive design, and multi-region SaaS deployment. We offer a mostly remote setup with weekly face-to-face meetings, preferably in Calgary, and are open to exceptional candidates elsewhere. This opportunity may be structured as part-time, contract, equity partnership, or technical co-founder involvement, with compensation options that can include salary, contract work, equity, sweat equity, or direct investment. We also offer benefits such as casual dress, a flexible schedule, work from home, profit sharing, stock options, and an employee stock purchase plan.
