Job description
Take the lead in Hepatology at Shared Health and the University of Manitoba. This role directs a dynamic liver disease program while fostering research and education in a collaborative setting.

As the Section Head, you'll manage a team of hepatologists at the Health Sciences Centre. Your responsibilities will include developing clinical management protocols for liver diseases, including transplantation, while also advancing education for healthcare professionals. Collaboration in translational clinical research will be a key focus to enhance treatment outcomes and innovation.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead a team of academic hepatologists effectively • Develop clinical management strategies for liver disease • Oversee pre-and post-transplant patient care • Advance training programs in Hepatology education • Foster collaboration in clinical research initiatives

Requirements: • Doctor of Medicine with Hepatology specialization • Certification eligibility with the Royal College of Physicians • Extensive experience in liver disease management • Proven leadership and administrative expertise • Track record in clinical or translational research
