Our mobile teams are responsible for building, shipping, and supporting iOS and Android apps that deliver secure, reliable features that delight our Guests. Core Responsibilities

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of complex platform systems and capabilities that support mobile application development across iOS and Android. You will establish technical direction for the platform domain including infrastructure patterns, automation standards, and tooling strategies while ensuring solutions meet scalability and reliability requirements. You will make implementation decisions, conduct high‑impact reviews focusing on platform quality, and establish platform engineering standards adopted across the domain. You will mentor platform engineers at multiple levels, partner with engineering leadership on strategy and roadmap planning, and lead resolution of critical platform issues and production incidents. Key Responsibilities

Engineer sophisticated platforms, container orchestration strategies, and cloud infrastructure abstractions enabling engineering teams to operate at scale Design and build advanced CI/CD and delivery systems supporting complex workflows, artifact management, and deployment patterns across multiple environments Engineer intuitive self‑service platform capabilities including APIs, CLIs, portals, and templates that dramatically improve developer productivity and enable safe infrastructure provisioning Architect and deploy comprehensive observability platforms including logging architecture, metrics frameworks, distributed tracing systems, and intelligent alerting platforms Lead incident response for critical platform issues coordinating cross‑team efforts, conducting deep technical investigations, and driving reliability improvements Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience; Master’s degree beneficial 6‑10 years of experience developing enterprise platform systems and leading infrastructure initiatives across engineering teams, or equivalent Proven experience building and maintaining platform infrastructure applying established automation standards; track record of driving platform automation decisions across multiple teams Demonstrated ability to architect cloud infrastructure supporting diverse workload requirements; experience designing compute, storage, and networking abstractions balancing performance, cost, and developer experience Experience engineering intuitive self‑service capabilities including APIs, CLIs, and portals that dramatically improve developer productivity; proven ability to design developer tools and workflows enabling teams to operate independently Deep understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines, performance profiling, and observability Must Haves

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay‑for‑performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is $132,600 – $174,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
