Position Summary

:

Individual tuition in voice; weekly studio class.

Supporting the work of studio instructors by coaching and accompanying students. The successful candidate will have training and specialization in collaborative piano with a focus on voice accompaniment.

In addition to coaching and accompanying students in a 1-1 setting, coach accompanists may also be required to participate in: Student recitals, masterclasses, auditions for incoming students, juries, and other special recitals arranged for the year. These additional duties are compensated under Article 25.6.5.2 of the Collective Agreement.

Voice

Qualifications – Required: MMus or BMus and/or Licentiate or Artist Diploma and minimum 3 years experience accompanying voice/instruments at the PSE level and regional/national/international profile as collaborative pianist.

Salary: Hourly rate: $64.41 - $82.64
