Job description

Skyline Digital Images Canada, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Vice President of Strategy to join our team immediately. This is a permanent, full-time position of 40 hours per week, with a monthly salary of CAD $30,829 plus benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage available after 3 months of continuous employment, Life insurance, and RRSP match. Our office is located at 6691 Edwards Blvd., Mississauga, ON L5T 2H8. The Vice President of Strategy will be a hybrid role where the individual will be able to work remotely as well as from the office location, as needed. The language of work for this position is English.

Responsibilities

  • Shaping the future Strategy Department by defining key deliverables, outlining the benefits of integration, and initiating plans for departmental growth through the recruitment of top talent
  • Training key teams and developing tools and frameworks that empower client-facing employees to adopt a more strategic mindset and enhance their decision-making
  • Guiding and supporting efforts to elevate Skyline’s position as a strategic thought leader through targeted marketing initiatives, including participation in webinars, writing blogs, and representing the company at industry events
  • Leading the design and execution of marketing, exhibition, and event strategies informed by customer insights, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximizing audience engagement
  • Refining the Skyline strategic approach CMX for growth by analyzing data and reporting research findings, simplifying and communicating the business and strategic implications, and providing actionable insights for informed decision-making
  • Developing and presenting measurement frameworks, accompanied by highly insightful and actionable dashboards, to drive performance tracking and continuous improvement
  • Collaborating with client service and sales teams to clearly demonstrate to clients the return on investment (ROI) of our exhibit services, while analyzing results to generate insights that improve future work and increase client retention

Skills Required

  • Degree in business, management or a related field
  • Extensive experience in a senior strategic planning and business development role
  • Extensive experience in a senior marketing role
  • Strong understanding of industry trends within the tradeshow, event marketing, or display industry
  • Ability to understand, synthesize and distill results from market research and data
  • Experience consulting in B2B service and/or manufacturing organizations
  • Prior experience in experiential agencies and/or exhibit house/vendors
  • Industry professional certification is strongly preferred (ie. Chartered Institute of Marketing)
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
