Position

Team Manager, Collections – Lend Care (a goeasy company)

Responsibilities

Oversee and develop a team of collectors, driving strong performance and operational excellence.

  • Coaching, mentoring, and leading a high‑performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Validating accurate timekeeping and ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Delivering ongoing training and development to support skill growth and career progression.
  • Handling and de‑escalating complex customer complaints while maintaining a professional company image.
  • Conducting monthly one‑on‑one meetings to review performance, provide feedback, and set transparent goals.
  • Preparing and submitting accurate daily productivity forecasts for the team.
  • Compiling detailed daily reports to monitor performance, identify trends, and highlight opportunities for improvement.
  • Addressing policy issues promptly and escalating serious concerns in line with company procedures.
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and setting an example for the team.
  • Reviewing accounts to identify potential fraudulent activity and escalating concerns as needed.
  • Supporting special projects and additional assignments as directed by management.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the collections industry, including processes, best practices, and related technologies.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership role within a contact centre setting.
  • Proven track record of success in collections or a comparable role.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team to achieve and exceed performance targets.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French is a plus.

Internal Candidate Requirements

  • Must have been in current role for at least 9 months.
  • Must have endorsement/support of current manager.
  • Must not be under corrective action or within 6 months of any previous corrective action.
  • Must be achieving or exceeding the required level of individual performance in current role.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting salary: $55,000.00 per year CAD, plus the opportunity to earn monthly performance bonuses.
