Job description
Shape the future of artificial intelligence in education as an Assistant Vice President of AI Strategy. This influential role focuses on governance, policy development, and operational readiness in a collaborative environment. The Assistant Vice President of AI Strategy is pivotal in defining and implementing the institutional vision for AI across research, teaching, and operations. You will oversee AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with educational goals and values. This position demands a leader with a strong background in AI research, governance, and ethical considerations to drive successful outcomes across diverse stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement institutional AI strategy • Coordinate enterprise-level AI initiatives across the institution • Provide thought leadership on AI trends and ethics • Advise senior leadership on AI investments and governance • Represent the institution in external AI collaborations Requirements: • Proven leadership in AI-based research and applications • Experience in developing AI governance and policies • Familiarity with the Canadian higher education landscape • Strong communication and relationship-building skills • Demonstrated ability to influence across organizations Utilize your expertise in AI to foster a collaborative environment where teaching, research, and innovation can thrive across the institution. #J-18808-Ljbffr
