Customer Account Activation and Data Integrity analyst

The Analyst holds a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of customer Master Data within the organization. This encompasses a multifaceted responsibility, ranging from meticulous data entry to regular audits, all aimed at safeguarding the accuracy and consistency of crucial information. By diligently managing customer Master Data, the Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and facilitating informed decision-making across various departments.

Moreover, the Analyst assumes a proactive stance in mitigating bad debt risk and optimizing accounts receivables collection. Through comprehensive analysis and strategic planning, they identify potential risks and implement measures to minimize financial losses. This may involve assessing customer creditworthiness, establishing credit limits, and monitoring payment patterns to preemptively address delinquencies.

Responsibilities
Role Overview & Responsibilities

1. Responsible for new account activation and processing of new customers using SAP, Salesforce, Paradox and Excel
2. Responsible for updating customer Master Data while keeping Data integrity
3. Ensure the accurate completion of application forms as each area is highly regulated by taxation laws and specific to each province
4. Perform due diligence investigation on customer profiles prior to activating accounts 5. Verify customer history of bankruptcies and previous ownership with ITL though bank references and trade references
6. Collect returned payments for delinquent accounts using risk assessment
7. Recommend sending delinquent accounts to our third-party collection agency
8. Support with the releasing of orders flagged in the system with credit validation checks 9. Continuous contact with team members, account representatives and customers regarding investigations conducted


Qualifications
- With a financial background.
-Strong computer skills (MS Office- Excel skills)
-Persistence and agility for your end goals
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-A passion for nurturing strong client relationships
-The ability to prioritize, and be highly organized
-Full-time availability of 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, business hours, some flexibility may be needed)

Bilingualism (French and English) is required due to regular communication with internal and external stakeholders across Canada and internationally.

Our Client operates across Canada, and globally. This company takes all reasonable means to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires this where it is necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to fulfil these job duties.

Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (oral and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to:
- collaborate and provide support to other colleagues and business functions located outside of Quebec who do not speak French
- attend essential training, meetings or conferences held outside Quebec, which are presented in English
participate in company-wide Canadian/Global town hall meetings and management information sessions, which are presented in English
